The Bell Rang is a book about two girls from the 21st century going back in time unexpectedly to the slave times in Cape Town, South Africa. They must work together to help avoid a slave uprising as they adjust to their new roles as slave and mistress. As they work together, they bring unity and harmony to the house they are in, making a difference in many lives.
